You are invited to attend our annual Holiday Open House!
If you wish to view the Des Moines Christmas boat parade, go directly to the Des Moines fishing pier at 6 PM, then come and join us.
Please bring an hors d'oeuvre to share, and a food bank donation. It will be BYOB, with hot spiced wine provided.
If you like to participate in the gift exchange, please bring a wrapped item costing under $7.00.
Current and past Seabacs members are invited.

Seabacs Awards and Change of Watch Banquet
November 12, 2005, 6 PM.
Renton Holliday Inn
Cedar Room
6 PM.
Held on November 12, 2005 at the Renton Holiday Inn Select, Seabacs had a very successful banquet with 40 signed up to attend.
The event included a social hour, an excellent buffet meal with dessert, raffle and silent auction, awards and installation of new officers and a thank you to outgoing officers.
Seating was a surprise to attendees with special gifts to indicate seating arrangement.
Members' donated contributions of raffle prizes and silent auction items were of outstanding quality and thought.
Commodore Bill Balyeat recapped the highlights of the year. Outgoing and incoming Commodore Bill installed the new officers and gave thank you gifts to all outgoing officers. He presented his wife with a thank you gift and flowers for her support during the year.
Larry Lavagetto, outgoing Vice Commodore, presented Commodore Bill with a plaque memento of his office and with his license plate for 2006.
Craig Waffle presented a special thank you gift to Will Lebahn for hours spent helping him solve the mystery of his boat engine troubles.
The evening included Happy Birthday greetings to Commodore Bill whose birthday was on the 12th and to Treasurer Craig Waffle whose birthday is the 13th. David and Joan DiRito were congratulated on their 53rd Wedding Anniversary on the 12th which they were celebrating with Seabacs.
Awards for 2005 were as follows:
Stiff Rope, Craig and Leslie Waffle;
Commodore's Award, Mark and Terri Allgeier;
Boating Good Neighbor Award, Bill and Lea Hickman;
Boating Family of the Year Award, Craig and Leslie Waffle;
And a Special Recognition Award to Ray and Susan Williams for their unending support and all they have done for the club, even though they sold their boat a few years ago.
Installed as 2006 Club Officers and Trustees:

Treasurer Craig Waffle,
