Section 1:
|
Commodore (President) shall:
- Preside at all business meetings.
- Be chairperson of the Executive Board.
- Call extra business meetings, appoint committees not otherwise provided for and fill pro-tem vacancies as specified.
- Perform such other duties as the office may require.
- Perform the duties of the Vice President in their absence.
- Review the monthly bank statement with the treasurer.

Section 2:
|
Vice Commodore (Vice President) shall:
- Oversee and coordinate the efforts of all committees.
- Perform the duties of the President in their absence.
- Maintain and distribute an inventory of Club collateral (burgees, pins)
- Oversee and coordinate programs and activities connected with regular or special club or executive board meetings.
- Maintain a current list of club property and any borrowers of same.
- Establish and maintain a current list of clubs participation in reciprocal moorage and reciprocal ball agreements.

Section 3:
|
Secretary shall:
- Keep minutes of all Executive Board and other business meetings.
- Maintain an up-to-date roster of members.
- Notify members of all club meetings as specified.
- Maintain all required documents of the club.

Section 4:
|
Treasurer shall:
- Keep an accurate account of all financial transactions of the organization.
- Be responsible for all funds of the organization and receive and disburse all money subject to the will of the Executive Board.
- Disbursements shall be made by check only. A checking account will be set up and no check will be honored by the bank for payment unless signed by the Treasurer, such signature to be countersigned by the Commodore, Vice Commodore, or Secretary.
- Maintain accounts and render monthly financial statements of the organization.
- All financial records shall meet specifications set by Boeing Recreation. The Treasurer will submit an annual IRS Tax return using form 990 or 990EZ. This return shall be reviewed with the commodore prior to submittal to the IRS.
- Review the monthly bank statement with the Commodore.
- Review the financial records with an officer or club member upon request.
- Prepare an annual budget forecast and submit the budget for Board approval and to Boeing Recreation upon request.
- Receive the membership dues and provide records to the membership chairperson for issuance of membership cards.

Section 5:
|
The Boeing Company may at its discretion provide a Recreation Advisor who shall serve as an ex-officio member of the Executive Board.

Section 6:
|
Fleet Captain shall:
- Form and be chairperson of a committee to establish and carry out an annual cruise activity schedule.
- Be responsible to coordinate all Club parade activity
- Assign a Cruise Lieutenant and an alternate Cruise Lieutenant, for each cruise.
- Produce the Seabacs Annual Schedule including cruises and other events with attending Cruise Lieutenants and Alternates.

Section 7:
|
Junior Past Commodore shall:
- Serve on the board to provide guidance to the Executive Board with regard to the policies, procedures, and practices that affect the Clubs activities and social events.
- Be responsible to present the outgoing Commodore as a candidate for induction to the International Order of Blue Gavel (IOBG) when a recommendation for this action is received from the Board and two Past Commodores.
- Chair the Commodores Ball Committee if a ball is held.

Section 8:
|
Trustees shall:
- Represent the membership in general at Business Meetings, providing history and tradition and serving as advisors to the Executive Board for all items that affect the membership. They will not be a voting member of the Executive Board.
- Assist the Executive Board as requested.
